Who we are

Squatics builds and runs its own software products, including Vyapar (billing, khata and stock for shops) and Blinko (live video chat). In this policy, “Squatics”, “we” and “us” mean the Squatics team that operates these services.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run each service:

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and your message.
• Vyapar accounts: your name, phone or email, shop name, address and GSTIN, and the business records you create, such as bills, items, stock and customer khata entries.
• Blinko: the display name and interests you choose, and basic session data needed to connect a call. Video and audio travel between participants and are not recorded by us.
• Technical data: device and browser type, IP address and error logs, used to keep the services secure and working.

Your customers’ data in Vyapar

When you add customers to Vyapar, such as names, phone numbers and khata balances, you control that data and we process it on your behalf. We use it only to provide Vyapar to you, for example to generate invoices or send a WhatsApp reminder when you ask us to.

How we use data

• To provide, maintain and secure our products.
• To reply to enquiries sent through our contact form.
• To send service messages, such as invoices or reminders you trigger.
• To fix bugs and improve features, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your business records for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the products, such as hosting, messaging and email providers, under agreements that limit their use of it. We may also disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Vyapar records are kept while your account is active, and for any period required by tax law afterwards. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to people who need it to operate the service. No system is completely secure, so we also ask you to keep your login details private.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent you have given, as provided under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws. To make a request, write to us through our contact page or by email to hello@squatics.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will tell Vyapar users in the app.
